Who are the Board Members?
Board members are experienced English teachers from around the globe who work as a team to organize and manage Culture Club. They all manage one WhatsApp group each within the Culture Club WhatsApp Community and organize five Zoom Parties for their group. They also communicate regularly with other board members to help improve the project. See how previous teachers and students found the project HERE.
What are the BENEFITS of becoming a Board Member?
✅ Your board member profile displayed on this website - an excellent way to show your hard work and professionalism
✅ Opportunities to publish and present with collaborative/individual research based on the project
✅ Certification as a board member and co-organizer (beyond ELT, this would demonstrate the ability to work with Cultural Sensitivity and teach English as a Lingua Franca among different students)
✅ The use of the project to teach/assess your own students however you like (as a part of coursework if you wish)
✅ Be a part of an original global project which is establishing new directions in how we connect, engage and teach language learners
